Inasmuch Transition Homes
Inasmuch is the only provider of transition housing for refugee claimants in Langley, Mission, Abbotsford, and Chilliwack. We operate four homes - three are in Abbotsford and one is in Chilliwack.
What to expect:
One of our staff members will come pick you up and bring you to our transition house, where you will have your own private bedroom. Each house has shared living rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry. You will be greeted by a live-in host and your first meal will be provided. During your stay you will receive settlement services from our settlement worker. They will help with things like, enrolling your children in school, applying for social services, and referring you for employment support. When it comes time to move, our housing support worker will help you find your next home, and we will provide you with enough furniture to get set up. After your time at Inasmuch, you are still part of our community. You can come to our weekly tea times, and three parties a year!
